TO THE I/A: If you want to do something to help others, stop bitching about your life and saying you won't succeed, and actually try to do something. There are plenty of places that would love for you to volunteer. 2 Hands 7 Continents is one organization that comes to mind. You might make some new friends while also feeling like you've done something with your life.
You could also make some sandwiches and pass them out to the homeless, or give them your old coats and blankets. You shouldn't have any trouble finding homeless people who need them. Now, shut the fuck up and go do something.
