Last week, I went to the by-invite launch of an intriguing new line of jewelry, Autoctona, by Alessandra Murgia, a Portlander by way of Sardinia:


Here she's wearing what I think is my favorite piece of the collection, in solid silver and nylon. Available at Stand Up Comedy, these pieces are for those who take their accessories seriously—pieces start at $910. While Murgia and SUC's Diana Kim sported black versions, the presentation was of the colorful ombred versions coiled in a nesting box:
