—Newcomer to the West End Chrome is wasting no time getting into the neighborhood's First Friday swing of things. They're also scratching Portland's motorcycle itch with custom bikes from See See Motorcycles, Crowe Metal Co., Moto Factory, Ptown Scooters, and Jon Humphries. Plus music from The Perfect Cyn and DJ Sappho, beer, and raffles. (TODAY, 7-10 pm)

—Montavilla First Friday goes down tomorrow, and Union Rose boutique is using the occasion to kick off a school supply drive—bring some, and you'll get 10% off your purchase. (FRIDAY, 6-9 pm)

Haunt continues its series of summer fashion photography shows with "Elegance Untamed" by Christine Taylor. The opening reception will join the rest of 811 E Burnside's First Friday celebrations. (FRIDAY, 7-9 pm)

—The salon space in the Ford Building that is headquarters for stylists Kim Namanny, Danielle Solis, and Kelly Peach has re-branded itself as Windowwall, and is making its debut with a night of "decadence, glamour, and celebration." Check out the brand new website too, especially the Style Book inspiration board. (FRIDAY, 7-11 pm)


Lille Boutique's First Friday show features Crafty Wonderland co-founder Cathy Pitters' vintage lingerie ad-inspired embroidery on vintage handkerchiefs, called "Secret Uplift." (FRIDAY, 7-9 pm)
