One of Portland's most colorful characters with deep roots in the city's vintage legacy, Jeffrey Kyle, started a funky li'l shop of wonders with Jennifer Faust in early 2012 called Funkytown. Now, with the news that their building on SE Hawthorne is set to be demolished to make room for "a shiny new condos-on-the-top, business-on-the-bottom cube," they've decided to bail in favor of Kyle's dream of "flying off to tropical space."

Their last day is October 31, and until then they'll be offloading what are some of the most remarkable vintage finds in town. If ever there was a time to strike a deal on a pair of '60s-era Pucci shades, it's now. Stop by Tuesday noon to 5 pm, and Wed-Sat noon-7 pm, to ravage them.
