Surely you've heard that Gretchen Jones is back in Portland after having done the winning-Project Runway thing and pursuing her independent, eponymous line in New York before returning to take a position as the Elevated Contemporary Design Lead for Pendleton. Since she's been back, she's also started the Neutral Territory project, wherein she is forcing herself to dress with an increasingly limited color palette over the course of the year.

On Wednesday, March 26 (6-9 pm), Jones is appearing at Portland Sewing to talk about her experiences (and lessons learned). Specifically: "How to break through and make a living, scoping fashion opportunities, and strategies for success. In other words, the truth behind the fashion industry."

The event costs $75 to attend, so get your bang for those relatively big bucks and come prepared with questions.
