Get ready 'cause there's a new hot tub in town: The Original Nomad is a way to soak in a large warm tub that can travel with you, and to debut their newly born company they're hosting a launch party at The Colony in St. Johns on March 29. Because this is Portland and we don't do boring launch parties, this one has a stylish and creative twist that includes a theme for each hot tub. (Think a mini Content). There will be six hot tubs showcased, and each will feature a decorative theme by a local designer. Included in the lineup will be: Emily Katz, Box of Contents, General Merriment, Frest Coast Surfboards, 99 West Off Road and Laura Irwin (her hubby is the creator behind the brand)—Irwin will also be showing off a swimsuit by Holly Stalder. There will be eats and treats from Kuza Burger and Scoop Handmade Ice Cream, and a bar provided by Field Day, featuring refreshments by Union Wine Co. and New Deal Vodka. So bring your swimsuit and robe... seriously! The tubs will be filled up and heated for you to get in and try them out, which you'll want to do for a chance to win a tub and heating coil unit. Saturday, March 29th from Noon til 4pm @ 7525 N. Richmond
