The Old Believers

I find the name of this group a little unsettling. Old Believers is the name of ultra-pious Russian group living in the Woodburn area and in rural Alaska often called the Orthodox version of the American Amish. I lived for a time with the group in Woodburn while working on my graduate degree in the 1990's, and I've got to say that maybe I've grown too old but I find the name of this duo a bit offensive knowing that they borrowed their name from this religious group.

The name Old Believers is offensive to me too.
I refuse to listen to these cute little kids' sweet sweet music.
