So we get a neophyte who was never going to be appointed to lead the only bureau in which she is "qualified," (and I don't even think she is qualified for the housing bureau since all of her claims about the effects of rent control are squarely rejected by mountains of both conservative and liberal housing studies - it's like the consensus on climate change, but for housing). Glad to see the city of Portland is in super great hands!
