Police Bureau Draws Heat for TV Crew Antics

Sooo, the police here are apparently looking for a murder suspect. And the way that they do this is to burst into a homeless shelter with an [embeded] TV crew in tow, WOW! What a way to shame & criminalize an already maligned group of people!

Interesting b/c, while these pigs find it perfectly fine to drag around entire film crew to take all sorts of video of random people - the intention for which to be broadcasted on national TV - these very same pigs will arrest a citizen for taking photos of them on a goddamn cellphone!!!

So did they catch the murderer or not? All the bitching about homeless rights but no one seems interested finding the killer of a homeless person. WTF?

All the "bitching about homeless rights" you alude to are mostly done on the part of homeless advocates. It's THEIR job to address the civil rights of homeless people.

Concerning the police, it's THEIR job to catch murderers. But clearly, that's not what they're doing, in this case. They're too busy criminalizing innocent people & making tv shows. If you're upset that a killer is still out there, take it up with the cops.

Another shameful incident staring Portland's finest.
Pathetic, just pathetic.

I just got done reading an article by Fred Reed about the police, everybody who is interested in the subject of police behavior should read it:

How much money do Portland taxpayers receive from the producers of Cops for filming here?

Please wait...
