Great idea on the prison budget- when will states realize that they can MAKE MONEY on non-violent criminals instead of SPEND MONEY? Fines with no jail time. Fines that have to be paid before this person can get ANY SORT of state service. FINES that can be pulled directly from paychecks if not paid in a timely manner. FINES are the way to go for minor drug offenses.

How about putting them to work pulling weeds and cleaning trash.You could save money that way also.[weeds...no pun entended]I'm currently watching,"Cool hand Luke".Break for water Boss?
