Conflicting Immigration Policy Leaves Locals in Limbo

So I waited one and a half years for ICE to approve my wife's application for permanent residence but because immigrants illegally crossed the border they should be able to skip the process and use other peoples identities without prejudice?

My favorite argument is when someone says they no nothing about their county, such as Mexico in this article. More often then not the person who crossed the border illegally had no idea about the USA.

I support the Dream Act.

But are we supposed to feel sorry for Mr. Salgado's situation AFTER he got caught driving drunk in our city? People who drive drunk are a "serious risk to public safety"!

Also, how can he claim that he "never get into trouble"??

My wife is a legal alien and we went through all the hoops too.
