If you had been one of the many victims of illegal foreclosure that followed BoA borrowing large sums again and again from taxpayers, I doubt you'd find much comfort in the fact that they paid back the bailout. Aside from the illegal ones, many more of the foreclosures could have been prevented, but that simply was not a priority.
Add to that the fact that the big banks spent large portions of the money on campaign contributions, lobbying, and bonuses and benefits for top executives, and your point stands out as even more irrelevant. I think you're on firmer ground posting about pet psychics.
