Well it really isn't the least bit surprising (to me, at least) that the Portland Police Gestapo typically sides with the city where it concerns grievances involving things like sex on the job, insubordination, etc. - as oppose to whenever cops actually MURDER someone.

The awful fact is (and i'm certain that the same goes for all police departments in this messed-up country) that a cop is FAAAR more likely to lose his job over some in-house misconduct issue than for gunning down or beating an innocent citizen to death.
