Dogs are deadly weapons. Off leash dogs are a menace and a threat. Dogs on long leashes might as well be off leash. Most dogs are stinking filthy. Keep them to yourself. The cop should have simply shot the dog's owner for threatening people with a deadly weapon. To pepper mace a couple of innocent bystanders, trivializes the actual offense.

Actually, the dog's owner could have been shot for threatening people with a deadly weapon. It's not the dog's fault, but it's hard to decide which to shoot first, the dog or the owner.

Three things that really piss me off. Dogs out of control, bikes on the sidewalk, and cars that roll trough the crosswalk at pedestrians who have the right of way. Each of these offenses is a threat with a deadly weapon. The police ought to have to clean up the dog shit left in the park. Then, they might have some incentive to write tickets for it.

I like you Dread. But I think your satire is lost on some. ;-)
