Great reporting as always, dude.

Shelby King should do an article on short term rental jerks Vacasa (who owe millions) and even AirbnB scofflaws like the 8 unit Butternut Condos on SE 50th and Hawthorne (who have fines piling up). I don't know why Vacasa execs aren't being criminally prosecuted for tax cheating. We have millions that would be easy to collect (foreclose on the Butternut Condos).

Debt collection isn't that hard, folks. It can be outsourced to responsible, regulated credit bureaus.

why don't we start with also cutting the tax payer some slack and abolish the utterly useless and retarded arts tax. if you kid cant learn to paint in the arty fartsiest city in north america without the use of additional tax to learn how, well then maybe art isn't for him or her. id rather have a chemistry tax, or algebra tax, or poke out my eyes with sticks than pay that stupid thing again and again....
