I guess there is not accounting for taste, trololol...
It's gonna be hops mania all over again.
Does anyone know where to get an Aardvark costume?
Secret Aardvark is so good because they don't over-vinegar and over-salt it. You can actually taste the pepper.
As someone who loves hot sauce, and grows his own peppers, Aardvark is tits! G'luck out there!
Very thorough, Dirk! A great article. Nick says you better pack a bag full when you come for Christmas!
Made from pure ardvark.
I only steal it directly from Rob.
Great article. I remember getting my first bottle of the Habanero at Saturday Market years ago. Yum.
Nick is solid. I would puke in his grotto any day. He would probably have a bag already. Chick is a pro.
Or ask your butcher to do it for you. That's the easiest.
...says the man on hunger strike.
Free all turkeys!
Are you kidding? You've attempted to write an article about the finer points of brisket, without even a nod to the actual parts (the point and flat). More importantly, you've completely whiffed on a discussion of the King of All Barbecue - the BURNT ENDS. Shame on you.
I'm supprised they didn't mention Littly Piggy BBQ (two locations: Cartlandia and PSU) I eat lunch there and LOVE it! I wonder what those at the Mercury think about it.
what is that an overcooked butterball run over by a dodge dakota then dumped in heinz ketchup? and the smoke hovering above- somebody chain smoking marlboros under the table or is it mosquito coils?
just horrible. no want barbecue like that.
Bibimbap the Bebop! BIBIMBAP THE BEBOP!!!
I'd make a few changes here and there, but I think the overall vibe you're sending through the space-time continuum, (via drunken scrawl on power ranger themed notebook paper ridden with scotch and repressed adolescent tear drop stains,) is a mutual feeling amongst most inebriated Portlandians toward those uppity future fucks.
Fuck 2113 and their computer powered tequila catheters!
Ummm... look closer. (I've been waiting so long for someone to write that comment!!!)
Umm.. You spelled "decadence" wrong on the cover.
Not a meat eater, and I feel sorry for those that are. Seriously. I respect their right to do what they choose, but ending the life of another living and breathing creature so that I may dine...NO, not in this lifetime. For those that eat meat, but don't want to know the reality of how their dinner was "raised", maybe some research is in order. "Farmed" and "Processed"...a real pig in a poke!
