Re: “I'm Staying Home

2001's Last Orders was also very good. Hokins, Cain and Winstone in the same movie! And he bangs Helen Mirren!

Re: “I'm Staying Home

. . . you did not mention Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. Bowie plays a POW in a Japanese concentration camp. I would say his most noteworthy performance ever.

Labyrinth, starring David Bowie's crotch.

Re: “I'm Staying Home

Rushmore looked amazing on the big screen. This was Wes Anderson's masterpiece. Hasn't topped it yet. The Royal Tenenbaums was excessive. There, I said it.

Re: “I'm Staying Home

I didn't forget it. It just wasn't as good as the two I listed. I also remember him as the science teacher in "The Faculty" (he gets his fingers hacked off by a paper-cutter) but again - not as good as the two I listed.

That's an internet thing I've found: Assuming that something got left off a list because it was forgotten. Usually when people say that, what they mean to say is "OH OH REMEMBER THIS ONE THING CUZ I DO!"

Anyway, I never thought Half-Baked was all that good. There's some funny parts in it, but it really should have been a half hour long, tops.

Re: “I'm Staying Home

You've clearly never seen Jon Stewart's "overachieving ass" starring as the "Enhancement Smoker" in Half Baked. It's clearly one of his star roles, especially ON WEED!

"You ever seen the back of a 20 on weed. Oh there's some weird shit in there man. There's a dude sitting in the bushes. Does he have a gun? I don't know man. I don't know. What? Red team go. Red team go."

I suggest you start staying home, and watching your videos, ON WEED!

Re: “I'm Staying Home

Season 6 was a pile of shit. It perpetuated the Evil/Dead Lesbian cliche and the so called villains were stupid and lame.

Re: “I'm Staying Home

Oh, Buffy. The highs and lows. You had to smell the rose along with the crap it grew in.

Sure hope the "Chuck Norris eating a dick" tag gets used more often.

Re: “I'm Staying Home

Orson Welles: Cinematic icon or planet-devouring robot? We report, you decide!

(Also, this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH1PJTY9AVA)

(Also, also before anyone tries to one-up Herr Roberts' film learnin', Welles' role in Transformers was his most recently released role, yet not the last thing he ever acted in. He certainly didn't plan on leaving fucking Transformers: The Movie as his final celluloid gift to the world.

Sadly, it's all too common to find Internet people who will argue to their dying keystroke that "Citizen Kane was killed by Unicorn!")

Re: “I'm Staying Home

He may not give a f**k, but when it comes to his movies, neither do I. They pretty much suck.

Bay's very lucky that there's plenty of dumbasses that'll see anything with lots of explosions in it, no matter how lame.

Re: “I'm Staying Home: Mercury Video Picks”
..smurfs and snorks ... TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!!! Are you even old enough to remember them?! First off and most importantly, Smurfette is a bone killer, while I can still make an erection thinking of Daffney Gillfin (It's the optional and centrally located head orifice). OK,.. they were SIMILAR to smurfs..... in that they were cartoons......, but that's where the similarities end, Henriksen. The snorks were variable colors,.... not just BLUE... and, more crucially, LIVED UNDER FUCKING WATER!!!!!. Hold Brainy or Vanity under water, and see how long they last. Now, which show is better? That is personal, but, at least, the snorks had the decency to be canceled outright, and not try to pull a bag of feces over the consumers' heads by the dropping of a plump deuce like Sassette or Wild Smurf all over the last few seasons to try and reach around a younger and dumber audience. The Smurfs wasn't a terrible show. I had the Atari game, and it whooped ass. I stayed up late to watch their Christmas special. but The Snorks 5 season run wasn't ever enough for me. I guess I'm still dealing with the loss.

Re: “I'm Staying Home: Mercury Video Picks

Seriously, god damn major media providers for not getting with the times. I'm actually agnostic, but I'm considering joining a major religion (Either Christianity for my mother's sake or Islam because Mohammad loved cats) just so I can pray for all the non-artist executive types involved with this shit to die of lymphoma. The Two Towers wasn't even worth watching until the expanded edition! That they don't just release the available media in the improved formats is cuntish to the 100th power.
