Favorite Portland band, both in concert and on albums! Playful, smart, and Portland-to-the-core. Their songs will worm their way into your brain. After months of listening to their album in your car CD player, you will realize that it's stuck, and your attempts to switch to a different Keep Your Fork There's Pie album will be thwarted. Your friends will stage an intervention, to force you to listen to other music. Your husband will say, "I like their music, but if you keep playing it all the time, I'm going to get sick of it eventually." So, you switch to AgesandAges for bit. But now, with a new album coming out, you can feed your habit anew!
It's now Sponsored by Proud Queer Monthly, who are doing a great job of filling the void where JustOut used to be.
FUCK WHITE FANG
If you're birthday is between May 10th and May 24th, you can get into this show for free with your I.D. at the door!!!
Portland's hardest working dance band takes some time off from touring to officially release their 4th CD. Nine new tunes from bandleader Evan Shlaes pen celebrate the great things in life- food, friends, family, music and party time! The New Iberians go on at 9pm, then Red Cotrell and the Outlaws close out the night.
This event is going to be AMAZING!
Show actually starts at 8! Get there early and catch EL CERDO!!!
The band is epic and awesome in every way imaginable!
Social Studies is amazing. Saw them at Treefort Music Fest. Woo!
Show Of The Week! Anti-Folk-Alternative: Very Little Daylight!

A rad lineup for a Wednesday night! Cement Season has been around a while and always puts on a great show!
Headless Pez are a buncha idiot assholes.
This is Lounge Gizzard with a message. So prick up your ears, do the snake tongue wiggle, and give a sideways
devil horn salute !! I want all of you to know how much fun I had doing a show at The Lovecraft Bar last night.
I appeared at the Wednesday night musical event hosted by
The staff there were very gracious and I felt strangely comfortable onstage amid the mortuary paraphernalia. This
club is a Mecca for all horror movie lovers. The walls are plastered with framed cult movie photographs mostly B
+W. All things dark, foreboding, macabre and just plain bizarre are celebrated with a flair as the decorators
all out to create a unique, cozy sanctuary. Impressive and lovely hallucinatory original artwork also. I pined for
my old black and white twelve inch. I also wished I had filed my teeth and was sporting fresh razor slashes when I
sat down in one of their tall crypt-like booths. Nice !! I have found some people that like weird stuff as much as
I do !! I struggled through my set that was not without its hardware glitches, (in typical masochistic, martyr-
like Portland musician fashion ), and the audience gave me a satisfying round of applause. It doesn't get much
better than this. I encourage all of you to check this place out. The djs do a great job of whipping out a far-
ranging mix of electro, punk, post-punk, industrial, protopunk, Goth, and regular trippindicular music. Let your
mind and the time flow inside this little "rabid habit-shack" !! shadrac, shadrac don't look back.....
