One of the worst meals I have ever eaten. To call it mexican cuisine is like saying the olive garden is fine italian. The green mayo they call guacamole was the worst trick ever played on me in a restaurant. If you are looking for a break up spot however I give it five stars!

The booze for my friends was cheap and I think the bartender (who was friendly) didn't charge me for my soda because I was the DD, so I could give a fuck about the way the clientele acts. I'll be back. Thanks for a nice evening!

So that was my first time to go to this Hot Pot City. I did not know how the store works... but when I entered the store, I saw 3 empty desks, and a few people sitting around. My friends and I saw the "waiting" sign. At first, we want to ask the waiters if we should get a ticket to wait or what. We waved at them, but no one replied. They just saw us, and turned away. POOR SERVICE. We tried to call on them for several more times, but same thing happened. So, we decided to get a table ourselves, since there are three empty tables. Then, still, no waiter came to us. They just stared at us. Two of my friends directly approached one of the waiter, and ask her if she can serve us, but she started to be talking really rude. IF she talked to us nicely and told us earlier that we should sign up on a paper on their desk, we would gladly do so. HOWEVER, that two waiters said nothing to welcome us or did anything to inform us. They then started to blame on us and shout at us. THIS is so ridiculous and rude. My friends and I ended up shouting them back and just left the store. We traveled a long way to go to the store and we got "THIS" kind of poor service. THEY TOLD US TO LEAVE IF WE DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT. BUT THE POINT IS... WE WILL WAIT IF THEY TOLD US EARLIER OF WHAT WE SHOULD DO IN ORDER TO BE IN THE QUEUE. WTH?!?!I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN.When we told this prb to my frd's relative, who lives around Portland, they also said that they only went there for once, and never go again because of the poor service. IF THEIR STORE OPENS IN HK, THEY CANT EVEN SURVIVE FOR A MONTH!!!! THEY WILL BE CLOSE DUE TO WHOLE BUNCH OF COMPLAINTS!!! SO MY ADVICE:NEVER GO TO THIS STORE AGAIN!

Watch out for takeouts! They are very unorganized and not all their staffs understand english! I received wrong items twice within the past couple weeks! Their customer service is not good.

Had drinks and great appatizers at the Tannery two nights ago. Very inventive cocktails and Chef Caleb McBee's wonderful food in small plates made for a fun and satisfying evening, although it seemed that half of Portland had the same idea. It was standing room only!

Be warned: They filled out a lamb dish with pork on the bottom (cost-cutting?). It was disgusting. I was a semi-habitual customer but now I am never going back. I was very, very disappointed. Service has definitely declined too.
Check out some places in SE, they're better or not going to scam you or overcharge.

Join us in supporting Gibson and help us wish her former boss, Mike Lemmo, a happy birthday!
Gibson is a barista who worked at the Lyrik Cafe for over a year.
Mike Lemmo bought the business at the beginning of August and replaced original staff after they trained their replacements. Mike often used abusive language and called Gibson a “dirty hippie” shortly before firing her via text message.
He then stole over $100 from Gibson’s final paycheck, and has yet to provide her with a single paystub.
Gibson, We Are Oregon, and dozens of community allies have held a series of actions at the Lyrik Cafe over the last 3 weeks, topped off with a picket on Tuesday. It is important that we keep the pressure on Mike to return the wages he stole from Gibson.
Mike is turning 65 this weekend, and you’re invited to his birthday picket! Come share your birthday wishes, walk the picket line, and eat some cake!

Holy BBQ Batman! What a wonderful place! These people sure know what they are doing and we get to eat it. I must say, try the biscuits. I tried a few whiskeys I have never seen before. I will be going back as often as my wallet allows :)
