Classic Portland neighborhood hangout. Deck is sublime on warmer days. Good food; good environment to enjoy a drink and some conversation.
I love this neighborhood destination. Best food in the area. Wonderful selection and fabulous service.
I've only been to NYC once, and the bagels I had there were good, but not as good as Bagel land. Lots of great flavors, great texture to the bagels, and good cream cheese.
This is my favorite bar in the nw. They have so many beers. A full bar and lots of wines by the glass. The beers are always changing, 3 or 4 new taps a week. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and super friendly. its a place you have to check out!
Overpriced and untasty. Pulled pork and brisket were both bone-dry and leather-tough. $9 for a sandwich, ouch. Charges a $1 credit/debit surcharge (which is fine) but didn't say anything about it, just charged the extra dollar without warning. With so many good options in the same cart pod, there's really no reason to eat here.
Bottomless mimosas for only $5 every weekend brunch? That's nuts!
It's SE 10th, not NE 10th.
They now take credit cards!!! Also the hours are Monday - Saturday 10am to 10pm Sundays are 11am to 8pm. Staff is now friendly with a lot more selection.
This bar rocks. We have needed a Meridian/Bye&Bye sort of bar over here on the other side of 23rd. Cheap and killer. Dollar high-lifes for happy hour and still open after work. I love this place. I'm bringing a sleeping bag next time.
I think there should be an option for empty stars... They don't deserve one!!! But since that's the lowest option... Anyway, service was poor, waitress brought my food 10min before my husbands, with no utensils. His manicotti came out and the waitress said, don't touch the plate, cause it's hot. Hmmm... Was that microwaved??? I asked her if it was frozen, she said she didn't think so, so I asked her to check.. Ahhh, yes, she said, it comes frozen to them as a whole, they don't even make it!! Homemade pasta shipped from Italy, my fucking ass!!! I could have gotten 5 frozen full entree dinners from Winco for the 45 fucking bucks we spent!!! Bitches
Horrible service, horrible food! I was served raw chicken - end of story.
great place love the people awesome job cutting and coloring my hair
Hey, the address for IPRC is wrong here! IPRC moved a few months back, it's now located on 1001 SE Division.
The event should be great, check out this short video from the first AmaZine Day! http://youtube.googleapis.com/v/2S-pIJsBkG…
Everything here is usually pretty great. It really the only place downtown to get mostly organic whole foods. They are also collectively run which is kinda amazing!
Every once and a while they fail but I know this is because they provide learning opportunities for students on campus who have never worked in restaurants before and I think that is pretty cool. Usually they are good about catching fails and either pricing them really cheap or pulling the item as well as giving you something else when something is not as yummy as you would like.
Absolutely phenomenal. There's really no place in the NE quite like it. Organic food, coffee/wine/beer, live music in a warm, cozy atmosphere and all for extremely affordable prices...I'M SOLD!
i love the Firkin!!
It's the perfect place if you like darker styles and they have costumes!
The coffee is perfect, they never burn the milk or the soy. All their food is great, but I like the breakfast best.
They have reliable wifi, and the seating is comfortable and well-spaced. It's not a huge place, which is also nice. Their music is kept at just the right level to keep conversations private, without being so loud as to be intrusive. You can tell the owner really cares about this place, as he personally works on everything.
This is my favorite little cafe in the park blocks.
