Eh, I'll wait til it hits Laurelhurst.
Why would you want to publish anything to be read by the denizens of the shithole you imagine Portland to be? Their addled hipster brains can't comprehend your urban cool. London again? Aren't you missing some kind of excruciatingly authentic urban festival with actual black people in NOLA?
MATT DAVIS IS WORSE THAN STALIN.
This review is rubbish.
One element of the EFF is B Media Collective's "Symphonic Exquisite Corpse" remix video game!!

This review is brilliant.
Sounds like dis review was about how the author was poor in high school and never got invited to sweet-as-balls rich people parties and was stuck home reading nerdy books and writin stupid papers about them.
Good review. I found the film lacking and feel Gatsby was butchered somewhat
@firely yes it was a joke. i am in fact kidding you.
Well I basically liked it, in spite of it all.
If you go into a film looking for things to bitch about you're not a film lover or a film critic, you're a cynical asshole. Jar Jar Binks are you fucking kidding me?
"we're treated to 3D lines of text from the novel that drift across the screen like the effluvia of the world's most pretentious skywriter."
Hallett, you're the best.
Fargo yes Raising Arizona maybe. Millers crossing and no country are weak.
Isn't every other movie ever made about "other people's problems?" Malick makes movies for people that have experienced life, who think about life and what it means to live and love. If you've ever been in a relationship you can feel what the characters are going through without having to be told why and how.
Roger Eberts final film review before he died was for To the wonder, I recommend that one http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/to-the-w…
Yes, I was hoping Henriksen would write another batshit review. Nitpicking things that shouldn't be nitpicked and completely missing the point. I'm going to see it Asap. Boyle has never let me down before.
Henriksen finds it tonally uneven. AKA It's probably one of the more original and challenging movies that will come out this year. Travers highly recommends. Go see it.
I've got high hopes for this one. But I think I'll let some of my more eager friends spend their money first, and get a real honest review from them.
My favourite movie of the past few years. It's not perfect; Gucci Mane's performance is a let down (he's out thugged by Franco) and the ending doesn't live up to all of the dreamy delirium that's built up before it, but there are a panoply of unforgettable scenes and classy, artful elements throughout. Dismiss it at your own peril.
