Re: “Home Explosions: Underrated

Preparation, explanation, exposition, sweet background music, then a sound and a fury signifying nothing.

How very, very, Portland.

Re: “Velveteria Museum of Velvet Paintings

Hello everybody! Im looking for a black velvet painting of the pink panther sitting on the toilet holding a cigarette. I think its about 3 ft wide by 5 ft tall. Its much more defined than the mass produced peices that are fairly common and because the peice has been so hard to locate Ill pay up to 300.00 if its the one Im looking for. Contact me at collectitall4less@yahoo.com

Re: “Velveteria Museum of Velvet Paintings

I have a velet painting approximaty 28 inches by 42 inches that hung in my grandmothers house that she pruchased from a door to door salesman in 1945. "Remember Pearl Harbor"

I was 10 years old at the time and wonder if it was an original or mass produced.

Re: “Velveteria Museum of Velvet Paintings

I have two velvet paintings..one was from my Grandmother and one from my great aunt. Both were painted during the depression..same artist..who painted these landscapes for a meal. One is titled Romance and the other Stage Road. Both are the same size and with the same frame. Let me know where I can get appraisals. Both are in perfect condition.

Re: “Velveteria Museum of Velvet Paintings

II have a velvet painting of an Indian Chief that is at least 30 or 40 years old. I am not sure but it may be Souix. It is signed with a circled Z in the upper left hand corner. I would send a picture if you have an E-mail address. It is NOT a paint by number. I have been meaning to take it to a local museum in Minneapolis.
