Why is Birdman wearing a Burger King crown to the game? I thought those were just for kids.

glad to see you back on the beat covering the Blazers, Ezra. The recession has forced me to move to Fresno temporarily, and reading your blog while watching the game on TNT, down here, makes me feel like I'm at home.

Did Blaze the Trail Cat make a half court shot between the first and second quarter? I sorta missed them talking about it... but I think that's what they were saying.

Ha. Good question. Because he just got off the day shift there?

ROM. Yeah, he did. Behind the back, I believe. I usually tune him out, but that was impressive.

Doogie.
Fresno? Sorry. At least that's where Kevin Federline is from. Say hello (or "PopoZao" in his language) to K-Fed for me.

Ezra: go upstairs and get a beer ....the rest of us are forced to go to the TNT studios in Atlanta so that we can witness Barkley invent a new word.

OMG, Federline is from here? I'm totally not surprised....the situation here is, well, "Appalachian" let's say. Just. Gross. Cher is from here, too, as everyone here will tell you beaming with pride.

guess who's shooting 1000 free throws per practice this week? anyone remember early shaquille o'neal at the line?

Posted by miguelaron on October 30, 2009 at 8:41 AM | Report this comment

90 total free throws in the game.

The Blazers lost the game fair and square, I am not blaming the refs, but jesus they sure do love blowing their whistles. So many phantom calls on both ends all night. Makes it really really difficult to enjoy a game.

Yeah LaMarcus and Oden missing from the line in the last minute doesn't help either.
