The name is based on these unique little fish shaped cornmeal sandwiches with various savory and sweet fillings (no fish, sorry) that you won't find anywhere else. The other thing you wont' find anywhere else (except now at some select retail stores) is No Fish's "Soup of the Gods" a daily rotating selection of four of the myriad of dei-riffic soups. You can get a big, hearty bowlful with two sandwiches for a mere five dollar bill (not including tip). They also offer a small but tasty selection of salads and noodle dishes and appetizers for when you want something different.
