Another one of those many, Portland hidden gems. From their bay in an aging mini strip-mall on the opposite end from the Baskin Robbins, just slightly off the beaten path in the Hollywood district, My Canh dishes up a wide variety of Vietnamese cuisines. From Pho to "salt & pepper" dishes to clay pot cooking and stir-frys. Basically, a dizzying array of choices you pretty much can't go wrong with whatever you order and the lunch specials are cheap, cheap cheap! The restaurant itself is comfortable and nice with a kind of mini-market around the cash register so after you meal you can purchase a tiny Buddha statue, some slippers or maybe fancy chopsticks.
