Por Que No offers some of the most unique Mexican cuisine in this city. Their fresh handmade tortillas are made on the spot, as are fruity juicy beverages including sangria. They serve Mexican brunch on the weekends with offerings like pancakes topped with plantains and huevos rancheros. The place is practically the size of a walk-in closet (albeit a cute closet), so you might not want to take the extended family.
A good spot to have your Caffe Vita coffee, use the free WiFi, and have a bite to eat or a drink. In-house bakers churn out fresh pastries, treats and both sweet and savory pies. They also serve a variety of creative breakfast and lunch sandwiches and soups and now have a full on bar complete with infusions and a happy hour. Don't miss their rotating art show, a wall of crafts-for-sale and ostriches. Well, not real ones but they really like the world's largest flightless fowl here. Ask 'em about it.
