Sassy's has it all on the east side. strippers on four stages, beer, wine and cocktails complete with a really long happy "hour" and numerous specials, a smoking porch for the addicted and a full-on menu that even has organic and vegetarian options if steak aint your thang.
Friendly Chinatown strip club with a large selection of bar-style food something different is on special every day for a mere five bones.
Hip, happenin' warehouse space in hip, happenin' Southeast Portland. Holocene is host to both DJs and bands. With two large rooms and one long bar, it's a great place to shake your booty or bob your head.
From what I can tell, the B-Side is a typical Portland dive, only without all the old people you'd find at say, the Yukon Tavern. Regulars come for the friendly, relaxing atmosphere, competitively priced drinks and well-stocked juke box. -How can it not have a great juke box with a name like B-side? An enjoyable spot to spend a few hours playing pinball or drinking with 10 of your closest friends.
Recently face-lifted, it's a tad less divey due to slightly renovated bathrooms and new windows but it retains it hipster cashe, the Matador is a big, narrow bar in black and blood-red that gets packed with some of Portland's rowdiest west side partiers. The cheap drinks can be sopped-up with Burgers, fries, nachos, burritos etc. Wednesdays and weekends DJ's spin for the ongoing party.
Mess up your shag, slap on your favorite poly pants and polish your ironic sunglasses. Get ready to smoke and dance your ultra-skinny ass off in Portland's hippest dark hallway of a dance club. And, No they don't have a sign. If you can't find the place, then you're just not cool enough.
Below super dance club Rotture, Branx offers a more intimate space and of course more DJs and more dancing, until the doors are opened revealing a much larger performance venue suitable for a large band and a big crowd!
Part lounge, part arts center, the Someday is a cool, casual, comfortable place to meet for drinks as well as a good spot to catch some performing arts action. From live music to theater, dance to spoken word. They offer some tasty specialty drinks and a nice selection of sandwiches, items that are "not sandwiches," soups, and salads. The food is all meat-free so you can park your guilt at Burger King. Also, they boast one of the longest happy hours in town!
You pronounce it Roh-TUR-ay. This lounge/dance/music venue features a stage, sizeable dance floor and a big balcony with an awesome view. See live music and/or DJs every night. Go downstairs to Branx for a change of venue.
The interior of this hip downtown bar was originally built very close to the shape of a tube, but got popular and has since expanded. It still possesses a modern design, with quality cocktails and mega hot djs many nights during the week. The menu has an excellent array of vegetarian/vegan bites.
