The historic Edgefield Manor once served as Multnomah County's Poor Farm but now, it’s anything but. Sprawling grounds with multiple buildings serving many functions. The main building has over 100 guest rooms. There are 7 restaurants and bars including a movie theatre, gardens, and a golf course. Just too much to list here. Three-level concert/event hall is one of Portland's larger venues. Showcasing diverse touring acts of many genres from bluegrass to hiphop to emo and even "rock 'n' roll." If you're seeing a show here, arrive early since the line to get frisked and scanned can be pretty lengthy.
The Wonder has proven itself a major contender on the Portland music scene by booking many hot shows in its relatively short life. The historic building—originally built as a meeting hall—is spacious and beautifully restored with a nice balcony and bar overlooking the ballroom floor.
Make sure to check out the cafe lurking in the basement of the building, waiting to serve you a cocktail and some food.

This homey pizza pub has just about everything. Well, as long as everything consists of: comfy atmosphere, beer, pizza, and live music seven days a week! The Atlantis Lounge in back mixes some sweet and exotic drinks.
Located in the Jupiter Hotel complex, the Doug Fir Lounge -located below the restaurant and bar, is like a super-cool log cabin bunker from the future. Playing host to some of the best touring and local bands it is by far one of the most unique music venues in the pacific northwest. The gorgeous log cabin-themed diner hosts a variety of musical events on their lower level, so you can see a show, drink a cosmo, and eat a "Fir Burger" all at the same place, then pass out in a swank room at the Jupiter Hotel just next door. The popular happy hour boasts some of the best cheap bar food in town, but get there early if you want to get a seat, because the lounge fills up quick with well-heeled urbanites.
This little Alberta fish and chips spot serves a number of different types of fried fish and crustaceans to go with those "chips" (That's pretty much it aside from clam chowder and a couple of sides like coleslaw), allowing them to concentrate on doing it right.
One of the oldest and largest music venue/bar/movie theaters in the Southeast quadrant. The Mt. Tabor has undergone numerous changes in the last decade from hippie to hard rock. It's recently reopened under new ownership. the Mt. Tabor features two sides. the stage for live music on one and the lounge with it's big movie screen on the other. A smallish menu offers sandwiches, pizzas a selection of vegetarian items, soups and salads.

The Buffalo Gap is a restaurant and saloon in a charming, century-old building. They offer dining, drinks, a to-go menu, catering, and a happy hour menu that boasts many tasty bites. Grub on burgers, specialty salads and Southern BBQ.
One of Portland's finest music venues Sits 3 stories above busy West Burnside and plays host to some of the best international and local bands as well as other events. The ornate decor is capped by giant crystal chandeliers from whence the name was derived.
The Goodfoot is a good old Southeast standby with a hint of a hippie vibe, separated into 2 floors—each with its own entrance. The lower-level lounge is a music venue hosting primarily hiphop, reggae, jam and world music acts. The upstairs pub is huge and has pool tables and pinball. The menu consists of gourmet burgers, sandwiches, salads and house specials, all for a completely affordable prices.
