Gee and a game it really has become with you huh. This posting was about someone leaving for a better job...however, when city hall is mention your head starts a spinning. Trust me, Portland is not a laughing stock - a few more things have happened in the nation and the world since the story broke.

I'm a bit confused here. Say you build a 12-lane bridge right, but your connecting to a 6-lane freeway, and there's no money and no room to make an 8-lane freeway let alone a 12-lane freeway, and I don't think many (although considering vantuckyians, probably a few) are going to drive on the bridge turn around and drive back continuously....somebody help me with the math, but I fail to see the logic.

Considering almost 40% of this town is floating pert-near the poverty level we need 10 times this many housing units being built - and affordable housing is not cheap-rent housing. It doesn't begin touch the needs of the working poor. The real estate market is currently over-saturated with market rate housing.

I really admire people who put their ideals into action. I wish them the best. Screw Red and Black for never getting back to them, they ain't too busy to help somebody out. Seem to remember a year or so back they were asking for someone to help them out.

Oh brother Jason, it was just a dream! Maybe I shouldn't have done so much acid as a child, who knows. Don't get all selfmarighteous. Maybe he's a freakin' rocket scientist like you. Who cares. The media and the obsessive bloggers have created such a circus around this that it has potential for a regular time slot on 'E'. I think Amanda can get a part as a sanctimonious blogger - she can be dressed as a cowboy - a whip in one hand and bible in the other.
And furthermore, some of us dress like sluts and ARE asking for it.
