So there are 2,000 signature (per Matt Davis above) or 4,000 (per BlackedOut above)? I've seen about 5 different figures so far - does anyone know what the number of signatures really is?

Though I have no evidence to back it up, I'm convinced that KGW's audience is 60+ and extremely right wing - at least those are the only people I've ever met that watch it. I guess if they have to reach such lows for ratings that's their problem, at least Mayor Rasmussen has the right idea about it... screw 'em.

So maybe if a teacher raped a student somewhere we should start rethinking this school thing....?
We've already seen NBA players accused of such things, perhaps we ought to just kick the Blazers out of town then?
While we're at it, I've heard that a lot of rape takes place in prisons - perhaps we should toss that idea out the window?

While I can't speak for Jasun (proud enough that I got him to swear), I can say that he has a pretty deep political education and has a tendency to use terms that make him sound more like a professor than maybe the rest of us might be used to.
Having said that, I can assure everyone that I felt no disturbance in The Force, nor did I witness any glowing red eyes, when Jasun used that phrase in the studio.
Yes, when I read it now it seems a little strange - when I was watching him say it, well, I didn't really think anything of it.

Go easy on music store jerk, he's only had the job for a week and he'll be gone by the next - he probably doesn't even know that there is such a thing as a left handed guitar. He probably can't read, do his own laundry, move away from his mom's house, or drive a car either.
In other words, complain to the store manager and hope he loses his job, someone more deserving could probably use it.
