pretty average movie, saw it yesterday w/ a bunch of teenies. again, tell me, what is so revolutionary about this film? I found it sophomoric and the actors mostly 1-dimensional and the story line pretty stupid and the climax unsatisfactory. no characters are fleshed out very well and I didn't really know who to root for. it might live another 2 weeks in the theaters.

@DumassA, just because a person isn't black doesn't mean they can't comment on race, you do in nearly every comment you write. What makes you an authority? Maybe a lifetime of crying about it because you never put any real effort into gaining real, marketable skills? Grow up!
This is stale, predictable Hollywood.
I guess the reviewer missed the HBO triology covering the crime, trial, incarceration and release of the WM3. It was better done, more researched and for God's sake, it's been 20 years. Check out "Paradise Lost" at your local library. As for DamosA, Are you new to Portland? I've seen your postings and you seem dumb as fuck, you think Tarentino sucks, go whack off to a crappy Spike Lee movie, "Do the right thing" is nearly 25 years old and he hasn't done much since besides cry about much more talented directors.
I liked the fucking movie. Now that I've shown my ability to use "Fuck" in a complete sentence can I have a job reviewing movies for the Mercury?
The reviewer and all the current posters sound pathetic, how I long for the NY Times and not this pseudo-hipster dreck.
Sam's accomplishments should include failing to pay his mortgage, t-boning another motorist in a fit of road rage and not being by the skin of teeth a registered sex offender. His list of accomplishments is a skinny edition indeed. The Mercurys fawning over this dried turd of a human who basically hid under his desk for the first 2 years of his mayoralty is about as low as journalism gets. I'd take an honorable Tom Potter over this media slut any day, at least we didn't get ridiculed then.
I'm going tomorrow, Gandolfini as a hitman, sign me up.
