I'm surprised by the bad reviews here. I've been to Fonda Rosa 4 or 5 times, and think it's some of the best (and most authentic) real Mexican food in town. They go for authentic, rather than the trendy yuppie atmosphere at some other places in town. Having grown up in Chicago, where haute Mexican food is an art, I think FR does a great job with their food. The ceviche is the best in town, and the sopes are delicious and a great value. Margaritas are authentic, not that premixed schlock you get some other places, and their menu has a variety of stuff. Their ceviche gets them 5 stars from me.
