Re: “Marinepolis Sushi Land

you get exactly what you pay for. i only chose the $1 and $1.50 plates. for that price, you're not getting quality. this is cheapo sushi. poor quality. the rolls are assembled sloppily. and there are a few mystery rolls in there. . .i thought i was getting a california roll but it ended up having like cream cheese (?) or something in it, along with something deep fried. ugh.

in short, it was cheapo, icky "sushi" and it made me feel somewhat sick to my stomach.

Re: “Lovejoy Bakers

I APPROVE Lovejoy Bakers.
My first Lovejoy experience was at lunchtime: their Cafe sandwiches are absolutely delicious. I had the Cubano which includes natural ham, roast pork, sharp provolone and pickles, and some dijon mustard. AMAZING. And the coleslaw that's served on the side is absolutely lovely. The Bahn Mi vietnamese salad sandwich with tri-tip, also outstanding, with a perfectly spicy (not too hot, not too mild) sauce and peanuts.

These perfectly-sized sandwiches are warm, filling, and fabulous!
