i was totally thinking the same thing about grocery stores. next closest is what the jefferson Safeway? I live downtown and i still go to Beaverton (WinCo or Costco) because of the prices and access is outrageous in downtown. How are you going to get that much inexpensive housing with little access for people who live on fixed incomes?
I understand it is just a street car ride to the Safeway but seriously this is bad planing for the entire waterfront development. Sure plenty of Gelato and Coffee and Dragon boating will help veterans transition in a very welcoming waterfront environment?
