We always hear people talk of performers having "It," that intangible, ethereal charisma that makes audiences love them. While I haven't seen 3/4 of the bands playing tonight, I can state without hesitation that Nathan Trueb, the frontman for Tango Alpha Tango, has "It." The band starts, you think, "This is pretty good," and before you know it, you're mesmerized by Trueb's guitar and vocals and you're asking yourself, "Did he just play what I thought I just heard?" Far too soon, it seems, the set is over and you're behaving like an addict: the instant it's gone, you want more.
