Briant, you give Mr. Troper entirely too much credit. According to his bio, "Morgan Troper is a college student, musician and freelance writer currently living in PDX, Oregon." One day Mr. Troper will grow up (yes, it will happen eventually, should he survive the brickbats long enough) and look back on his early writing. He will shake his head at what a nasty, unaware little twerp he was and be truly sorry that he mistook snide, uninformed claptrap for clever writing. He might even feel a little regret over not bothering to educate himself more thoroughly about music industry veterans whose work influenced the performers he deemed worthy of his juvenile taste. And he will realize that in the long run his puerile output served no one but his own callow ego (and not even that, very well). What a shame for Greg Lake and the Aladdin that this silly, pointless little calendar entry likely dissuaded potential audience members from seeing a thoroughly enjoyable show. How would you feel, Mr. Troper, if somebody gave one of your upcoming performances the same kind of "promotion"?
