They're open for weekday brunch too! Try the biscuits--they're effin' delicious.
She told this story on Sunday at All Jane No Dick. It was awesome.
Thanks for that Alison, hilarious AND informative.
@azure. There was one main heckler. Another asshole chimed in with something mean after the first heckler was asked to leave. Many, many more people heckled after that--and when I say "heckled," I don't necessarily mean they yelled ugly things. They shouted "I love you" and "You're beautiful" and hateful things about the first heckler. This is still heckling. Anytime anyone yells something at a performance it's a heckle and it's hugely disruptive. Dozens of people heckled her last night.
I think the game has tons of re-playability. There were a lot of little clues and notes that I missed the first time that really spoke to the secondary plots in the game. Sure, you might not replay Gone Home with the same sort of mystery of the first time--just like first love, eh?--but it there's a ton of layers that fill out the other characters' stories. I totally loved this game.
Thanks cat & beard! I was particularly proud of the Pink Martini one. Not sure if it was Pulitzer worthy, but I like to dream.
I always loved, loved, loved The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar.
Nailed it, Spaceman! Now back to the catstream.
