from a massage therapist: we have absolutely no way to determine how "deep" is from one person to the next. it is your responsibility as a client to communicate to us how the pressure is- thats why we specifically ask "how is the pressure". your therapist should've explained to you the correct way to measure pressure. Deep Pressure is defined as a 7.5 "hurts so good" on a 1-10 pain scale. The moment you cross over 7.5 you should be saying too much! we will happily adjust we just have no way of knowing unless you speak up.
