Wondering when people will quit being cattle, and develop the strength to call BS on tyranny?
Take only pictures. Leave only footprints. Kill only time
@Chuck. Contrary to popular belief, Portland does not have more houseless people per capita than other citys. Thanks to the propaganda monsters lies, there just ain't enough money to go around to fix this problem. Look at recent city budget cut for service, lack of beds at shelters, and OH, don't forget those tax breaks that don't work, it just seems like it. Tax cuts are like asking your employer for a pay cut. Would you ask for a pay cut?
This 15 year veteran has deviated from policy before. He also seems to have a bully mentality, as he has physically shoved people without provocation before
I like guns, but I like boobies better. BRING ON THE BOOBIES.
WTF? In the real world, if you don't work 40 hours in a week you get no overtime. I can understand having to take time off for family emergencies, but NO overtime if you don't work more than 40 in that week.
Another thing that might help would be if PPB got on the stick and enforced existing laws regarding crosswalks. As an example, I was nearly struck by a driver on a cell phone while I was in a marked crosswalk with a walk light as the driver turned from Se 82nd to Foster. After calling PPB and having them dispatch not one but two cruisers, the officers would even file a report at my request, let alone issue citations to the driver who was till on the scene. Then, I go in to file a complaint at 9:00 am this morning and at 11:30 finally throw my hands in the air in frustation. Under ORS 153.058 I am supposed to be able to file a complaint, but NO ONE at PPB had any idea on what steps to take. I am still waiting to hear fro either Chief Reese's or Mayor Adams office and won't hold my breath
@catandbeard. for your info, WV is coal country, not tobacco. Don't think they would mind growing pot and packaging it, though. Less rape of the land. Btw, WV is my home state, and yes we are edumacated.
But businesses due to get over 40 million back in kicker refunds for laying people off, not creating jobs and expecting more for less from workers. So much for that 66 and 67 argument, eh? http://www.oregonlive.com/politics/index.s…
