I wasn't offended, just confused, though a few people I spoke to afterward seem to have been (offended). My point here was that it was a comment that begged for the unpacking you've given it in your comment here, but didn't have a chance to in the panel setting where it would have been too much of a digression. Glad to hear the rest of the feedback hasn't been focused on that. I'd rather talk about Portland's fashion industry future, too.
It's more like installations, I think, but they're intentionally keeping it vague. It's supposed to be more of an "experience" than paintings on a wall, though. One of our freelancers just did a Q&A with a couple of the people involved, which'll go live on Blogtown Friday morning.
