"it's social relevance has almost entirely waned"? I disagree entirely. The underlying meaning of the show is all about the rent in the social fabric, and applies as much today as it ever has. We desperately need to accept diversity. It's not just about HIV.

Lower heat and more patience are the key to perfect eggs of any sort. A mixture of equal parts butter and olive oil in the pan tastes good and keeps the butter from burning. Best of luck.
I don't have children, so I can't speak from experience, but I do know that we have a culture that works to engender fear of childbirth in women. A woman happily announcing her pregnancy is invariably regaled with her friends' stories of long, painful labor, tearing, and other horrors. I am delighted that someone is trying to infuse women with the spirit that they can give birth and that it doesn't need to be horrifying.
