As someone that has worked at the Hollywood Farmer's Market for 5 years (haven't heard yet if they banned dogs there, too), I'm incredibly sad about this ban. One of my favorite parts of the market is all the different breeds of dogs, almost all of which are incredibly well-behaved. It really helps the day go by, and if they ban dogs at Hollywood, I just may not go back.

To all you hypocritical Portlanders with your "No one died when Clinton lied" bumper stickers: Why don't you give Adams a real chance? He is the mayor that Portland needs, and his lying about this during the election doesn't change that. I'm not saying he was right to lie, but in an election that was already charged with sexual issues, he would have had more balls than anyone in politics to admit it then, but would you have been good enough then to look past a mistake to elect him despite it, knowing that he was well qualified otherwise? I doubt it. I sincerely hope he does not resign. I still very much support and believe in his ability to run the city.

I actually LOVED the Romanian act at the end. I thought they should have been third, the hoop guy second (it was soooo original) and I definitely thought School of Rock deserved first. I want to watch the entire thing again, so I hope you are going be posting the videos soon.
What the fuck was with Dick Freedom? Did that guy actually have to audition and someone thought his "songs" were funny or good? Was it just a joke? I don't think he got booed hard enough.
