Yes, privilege. The ability to "coast" or "not contribute" is a right, but more specifically, an immunity. As in they can do or not do an action or actions and get away with it, when others without said privilege would suffer consequences.

In response to a room mate who left without 30 days notice, $277 in unpaid bills, and a giant ranting screed written in paint marker all over their bedroom walls, accusing author of tyranny and being a yuppy for wanting equal contribution to house.
