Dan Savage is a hypocritical asshole. Truly.
If only he would ever answer why he never writes about the youth pastors around the country doing great things, and instead focuses on the youth pastors who are up to no good.
But he doesn't have to respond to criticism. He's Dan Savage.
Hey, hey ... let's be sure to include all the Portland musicians involved, now: Matthew Cooper, aka Eluvium, did the beautiful score.
Well, I haven't heard it to know that it's beautiful, but considering the guy's music is invariably beautiful, I'm making an assumption.
What are you talking about, @YouKnowWho? Didn't you hear kiala? Cut ties with the parent company! Just like that! Cut 'em! Do it! Better yet, do it 10 years ago!
I wish, wish, wish there was as simple a solution for helping newspapers as know-it-all, know-nothing, snarky Internet commenters everywhere seem to think there is.
Quinn has a lot more "out there" than an empty Hypemachine search. I can't tell for sure from this post if you know that Sam was in the excellent band The Everybodyfields, but I get the sense that you don't. If not, you should check them out:

They just broke up recently, and used to tour in Oregon. They did a McMenamins tour a year or two ago.
Anyway, that'd be a way that you could hear more of Sam's music. And check 'em out on YouTube so you can ogle the drop-dead gorgeous Jill Andrews!
So End Hits got a Twitter just in time for PDX Pop Now...pretty cool. I've enjoyed reading the tweets.
Y'all gonna be tweeting throughout MFNW, too?
Hate this, and you're a soulless asshole. That was totally adorable.
To me, Portland indie pop begins and ends with Paper Brain.
