I have never felt inspired to write a review but after our dining experience I couldn't help but share.
My husband and I went to Grandma Leeth's Restaurant with my children (ages 3-9) The play area for the kids was AMAZING! There were several activities for all ages. The area is contained so the dining area was not too loud for conversation. It also keeps the kids safe. If they need to use the bathroom or come out for any reason they are walked out by a member of the staff. The kids played and ate in the play area. The staff read them books while they ate. They also had the option of eating at the table with us. Some things that made Grandma Leeth's stand out from other family restaurants (and we have been to many!):
1. The kids had a great selection of kid friendly food that was also healthy (no corn dogs, french fries, or soda) They loved the food AND they could eat as much pasta, fruit and veggies as they wanted. This is a great bargain if your kids are big eaters.
2. The adult menu was varied and delicious! Great vegan and vegetarian meals. They make most of their food from scratch.
3. The play area was so much more than just a play area...the staff was clearly very experienced with kids. There were art projects and activities or they could have free play. My kids made crowns and cute little fish.
4. There is plenty of space to eat away from kids so I could return even without my children. The restaurant is divided down the middle with windows so you can see the children.
5. Although you have to pay for the play area, it is reasonable since you pay full price for the first child and half for each additional. There are also "frequent dining" discounts. If you fan them on Facebook and make a reservation you only have to pay $2.00 for play when you buy a meal. So worth it!

This restaurant is a little hard to find but so worth it. The staff is very friendly when you call for directions. The exterior does not reflect the interior.
