The best pizza in Portland. The best sandwiches in Portland. The best salads in Portland. The best salads in Portland. For a while, this was my favorite pizza place in town. Now it's just my favorite restaurant. The food is so generous and perfectly done, and the service is the best. I dare you to try their pizza, sandwiches, or calzones and find anything comparable west of the Mississippi (the river, not that gentrified canyon of hipsters and yuppies).

I believe I will never forget the man(?) dressed like a chicken driving south on I-5 in an old Corolla next to me several years ago. Such is the nature of sincere and extreme surprise, that it can impress itself on memory by virtue of its unexpected-ness.

My first bite of a Chicago Italian Sausage sandwich from Eddie's Pizza several months ago was a delight and a surprise which rose to a similiar level of neurological indelibility, and I have been loosing my shit about it ever since to anyone who will listen. It is that good.
This is my new favorite restaurant. I'd never heard of it before I moved into the neighborhood; my bf and I ended up there kind of randomly. We were both completely floored by the awesomeness of our meals. Srsly. SO GOOD. We've gone back and had the pizza (rocks) and calzone (also rocks), but my fave is their salads, which make for at least two huge meals. My bf won't shut up about their hot sandwiches. The service is ridiculously friendly. It is never busy, and I will be so crushed if they close, so GO THERE!!!!
