<![CDATA[I've heard Lanegan several times in Seattle (at the Showbox) and this was my first time at Wonder. What a disappointment. At Showbox, the sound is crisp and clear - you hear every nuance from the vocalist. But at Wonder, the amazing Lanegan was completely buried under the instruments. Everything sounds fine at Wonder when the vocalists perform acoustically, but as soon as the rest of the band kicks in it sounds like they're singing through mud. I would have been better off sitting at home playing my own CDs. So disappointing. Don't think I will be visiting again; it's almost worth it to drive up to Seattle to hear sound done right. Oh well.
