<![CDATA[I have been there a couple times this year and I have to say, the food is majority of the time very good. Occasionally the Phad Thai is inconsistent. Sometimes it's very gooey other times it's dry or the spiciness of my regular plus tastes like my friends mild. I've only experienced one day when they had the worst costumer service however. They forgot my order and I waited for an hour. The waitress there also seemed annoyed with how busy the restaurant was at that time. I advice people to eat there but just don't expect great customer service around lunch time.

<![CDATA[I freakin' love their food! The massaman curry, drunken noodles, and garlic and black pepper tofu are the bomb! I order mild plus, medium for curries, and it is wicked hot. So yummy. This place is so good that's it's very popular, so make sure you have time if you eat in or take out (take out - good idea to order before you go on your lunch break as food can take more than half an hour).

<![CDATA[Baan Thai's food is alright...I like things hot. (Hot food, hot weather, hot babes, hot spice, hot pants) I was placing my order said I want "the hot" and the server warned me of how hot their hot is, right after warning the hot babe i'm eating out [with] of the same thing! Does this server think I'm not paying attention to my hot babe or somethin? I wanted the hot! When I got my bill I saw that "Hot" was recently written on in a different color ink and "Medium Plus" was scratched off. My server tried to pull the wool over my eyes and I didn't care because vengence is now mine! TWO STARS!!!!

<![CDATA[Baan Thai is the only place in Portland that I know if I order my food 'medium' that is going to be close to too hot. Most other places I order things 5 stars and it's never hot enough. I've sampled many bites of friend's food there and loved it all, but I'm stuck on the Pad Thai because in my opinion it's the best in Portland.
