Probably a waste of time, but to the two of you who made "Sink" I'm interested in checking that out- a link or some kind of email address I could get to manage that would be appreciated, since Hump gives its films back to their creators once the festival is done, and I can't watch this piece now because of it : /

I don't remember Sink??? I like the animations because it adds a variety to the festival. Now if it became more animations than live action, or even a close tie, then I'd be complaining.
I thought the most artsy (still missing that category in this festival) was "Hi I'm Pon". It was very well done all around...but didn't quite fit the Best Sex or Best Kink category...because I feel those categories better have some live action going on or else here we are watching "art" films instead of "porn".
Best Humor was a tough one to decide this year. "America's Funniest Hump Videos" was hilarious and very very well done and the commercials were GREAT! But "The Nun & The Bum Get Some" made me laugh quite a bit too, but maybe it was an uncomfortable (even though I am not religious) laughter. I voted Best Kink for "The Nun & The Bum", mostly because of the bum getting humped by Jesus (if you haven't seen this, consider yourself blessed). And "AFV" gets my Best in Show and Best Humor vote.
My Best Sex vote went to "Frosted Muffins" because damn that girl had a nice body. Any video that has me wishing away the anonymity that badly gets my Best Sex vote any day of the week.

I thought sink was awesome. I voted for it. And I do think animation, & claymation sex vids are ok. I enjoy a lot of them. I just wanted to see more naked real flesh. For that kind of prize money I'd be bummed if a clay figure beat me after I got naked and sucked cock for all to see. Sink worked because it had people & porn.
I do appreciate the hard work and imaginations that folks put into the clay & animations.

So I was one of the makers of 'sink'. Our film was stop motion animation, but with us real humans.
And I am more than slightly upset that ours was the only film not in the mercury write up. Obviously a mistake, but we put a great deal of work into our film, and I was saddened to have been omitted.

In Defense of Animation; I heartily say "Kiss my Ass." Animation is an Art form that has every capacity to be Erotic. (Mainstream Examples: Heavy Metal? Aeon Flux?!) Just because your idea of sex-related animation is what they run on adult swim, doesn't mean there aren't any sexy animations out there. For that matter, waiting for an excuse (Like "Hump!") to be made.

I was thrilled that "Hump!" allowed animated submissions, and honored to be selected. Full Disclosure: I worked on "Sink!" (no listing, Merc? WTF?!) which is both Animated AND stars Real People. Our ANIMATION gave you walking dildos, an absolutely gushing female ejaculation, and 2 feet of strap-on penetration with a glans the size of a grapefruit. Movie Magic! It's a labor of love (pun intended), and I humbly think we pulled off sexy and humorous quite admirably.

Thank you, "Hump!" for providing the opportunity to create fun and sexy things!

P.S. watch this for two minutes with getting a boner: http://vimeo.com/9943586

Awesome job to everyone who created or judged for Hump. And while I disagree that animation should go away (Clowns!? Yes...), I do agree that last year was better.

I think some of the sweeter and more humorous shorts from last year were replaced by more extreme (and unsexy) clips. I preferred last year's 24-hour wankathon or the Pdx lesbian bike ride over this year's face beatdown slapathon. Wack! Slap! Ouch.

That said, I'm sure there are many who were thrilled at the more S&M-themed clips. And America's Hump Videos was hysterical. Thanks to everyone who took the time to create and share themselves doing the dirty sticky.

Well it was another good Hump. However, I think last years was better. Just my opinion, but I think the claymation, and animation should go away. The porn with real people is way more erotic! I am going to have to find some people and make my own for next year. I think I can do better than half of what was shown this year.
