The music here is a mixture of gothic, industrial, 80's, synthpop, electronic, and post punk. No cover, 21+, nice bathrooms, fresh food, cheap drinks, and come as you are!

I absolutely love this place! There's fog machines, lasers, a catwalk along a mirror wall, dancing cages, a large dance floor, request sheets, various tables and chairs on raised levels, a long bar counter, and the DJ booth overlooking all!

Plus the friendliest bartender I've ever met, Alex! He'll make your drinks right!

In the front section of Embers the bar counter is filled with various colored and sized fish. There's also video poker and a pool table with plenty of room to actually play.

The design of Embers is fantastic! The natural lighting and hanging lamp designs gives off a very warm and cozy feel, with plenty of seating. One wall has an old looking decorative window embedded into an old style brick wall. There's a tall old-fashioned street-lamp post right beside it and beside the bar in the back room (dance floor). The overall style is quite romantic.

During holidays Embers is decked out in decorations! At Halloween there's skeletons hanging above the dance floor, and at Christmas there's large pillars for tree trunks and branches that cover the ceiling with little lights.

The staff here is very friendly and very accepting of any sexual orientation or gender identity. This is the place to come and be yourself, where you can interact with people who can become very good friends. It's a very nice family-like environment.

I've been to other dance nights around town, and in my opinion none compare to the thrill and wonderment the dance night Recycle has to offer.
